Our Farmhouse was built in 1858 and frames the entrance to the historic farmland that provides the perfect entrance for your wedding guests down our shaded country lane.

You can envision the past being blended into the present as materials from old barns, outbuildings, farm equipment, tobacco sticks, and vintage furniture are used in the creation and building of newer structures at the venue.

The grounds and barns at Cedar Grove Acres offer indoor and outdoor options for both ceremony and reception as well as a blank canvas for you and your planner to personalize and bring your wedding day vision to life. You can choose to work with one of our suggested vendors or you are welcome to bring any licensed vendor of your own.

Ceremony Areas:

• The shaded, secluded Meadow is sur­­­­­­­­rounded by trees and tobacco barns and includes a three section stage and arbor and a 65-foot long aisle outlined with red brick lead up to the stage.
• A shaded courtyard area with a rustic cedar arbor and split rail fence (for a more intimate ceremony)
• A 30′ x 60′ Chapel barn is filled with rustic benches on both sides of a 6-foot aisle. Three silver chandeliers hang down the center aisle and tobacco sticks adorn the walls in a latticework pattern.

Our main reception hall is 30′ x’ 74′ which includes a 24′ covered deck overlooking the Meadow.  This area is decorated with chandeliers and patio lights.  Hundreds of vintage tobacco sticks decorate the walls as wainscoting.  The side porch area, where guests can gather and look out over the pastures, encompasses two large trees that are wrapped in tiny white lights.

The bar area is located in the Tavern next to the Courtyard.  The 10-foot bar is built from wood salvaged from an 1800’s livestock barn.  There is also a red velvet couch, a church pew, and some rustic bistro tables in the Tavern.

The large fire pit area includes four rustic benches and overlooks the rolling pastures and the pond in the background.
